Here at Hokus Pokus Australia we are committed to protecting the confidentiality of any personal information that you provide to us.
Any information that you  share with us will only be used for it’s intended purpose in the fulfilment of your order.

We understand that your details need to remain secure, and we thank you for placing your trust in the fact that they will only be used for the placement and fulfilment of product orders.

Hokus Pokus Australia is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We manage your personal information in an open and transparent way.

Hokus Pokus Australia will only use your personal information when it is necessary for us to deliver you a service or perform other necessary business functions and activities.

Hokus Pokus Australia will not use or disclose your personal information for purposes unrelated to the services we provide, unless we first obtain your consent.

Where we can, we will allow you to deal with us anonymously or by using a pseudonym. However, in some circumstances, this may not be possible, and Hokus Pokus Australia may need to collect personal information from you to provide you with a delivery or other service. In some cases, if you do not provide the required personal information we will not be able to provide you with a service.

Our privacy obligations

Hokus Pokus Australia is bound by privacy laws, which regulate how we may collect, use, disclose and store personal information.  These laws also specify how individuals may access and correct personal information held about them.

“Personal Information” means information or an opinion about an identified individual (or an individual who is reasonably identifiable), whether true or not, or recorded in a material form or not. For example, these types of information could include your name, contact details, age and other information.

In this policy ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and ‘Hokus Pokus Australia’ refers to CB Imports Pty Ltd (trading as Hokus Pokus Australia) ACN 607 858 453.

This privacy policy is effective from August 2015. From time to time, our privacy policies and procedures will be reviewed and, if appropriate, updated.  If any changes are made to this policy these will be posted on our websites.

In what circumstances will Hokus Pokus Australia disclose your personal information?

In the course of conducting our business and providing our products and services to you, we may disclose your personal information. We will often be required to provide your personal details such as your name and address to third party companies who perform part of our service delivery such as fulfillment contractors and mail houses.

We only disclose personal information for the purposes for which it was given to us, or for purposes which are directly related to one of our functions or activities.  We do not give it to anyone else unless one of the following applies:

  • you have consented to the disclosure;
  • you would reasonably expect, or have been told, that your information is passed to those individuals, bodies or agencies; or
  • it is otherwise required or authorised by law.

If we engage third party agents or contractors, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that they do not breach privacy requirements in relation to the information, before we share your personal information with them.

Who do we disclose your personal information to?

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • professional advisers (such as lawyers or auditors);
  • payment systems operators and financial institutions;
  • upon lawful request from law enforcement agencies or government authorities; and
  • any persons acting on your behalf including those persons nominated by you, executors, trustees and legal representatives.

In all circumstances where your personal information is disclosed, we will take all steps reasonable to ensure that these third parties undertake to protect your privacy

Right to Erasure

At any time you can request to have your personal information removed from our database. This information will include any identifying information you disclosed to us at the time of purchase

We do recommend to keep your information on file for at least the warranty period of the product to assist with any follow up queries, however it is your right to request us to delete all personal information at any time.

Returns Policy

We believe in the quality and uniqueness of our product and are excited that you share our passion for our product.
Can I return my product?
Yes! We offer all customers a 100% no questions asked money back guarantee (subject to the terms below).We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about an item purchased or simply wish to return it, you are welcome to do so for a full refund (less shipping costs).  The only conditions applying to returns are as follows:

  1. All returns must be unused and in their original condition (including all original protective packaging).
  2. You must complete your return within 30 days of the date of your order and you are responsible for arranging the return and all related costs.
  3. The original shipping costs to you are not refunded.
  4. Any fees relating to payment method/s will not be refunded.

If you return an item without its original packaging, we reserve the right to deduct $25 per item from the amount to be refunded.

How do I return a product?
If you wish to return a product, please contact us and ask for a Returns Form. Please attach the completed Returns Form to the outside of each item being returned. If you cannot print the Returns Form, please attach a note to the outside of the item, including details of the customer name, email address, delivery address, telephone number and order number.

Send all items being returned to the delivery address stated on the Returns Form. Keep a record of your return shipment until you have received your replacement, credit or refund.

All products being returned must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

How long do I have to return a product?
All returns must be received by us within 30 days of the date of your order.

Do I have to pay anything to return my products?
You are required to pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us (including all postal or courier charges).

If the item(s) returned is not in its original packaging, then if we decide to accept the return, we may deduct $25 per item from the amount to be refunded.

When will I receive my replacement item/credit/refund?
We will endeavour to process your returned product as soon as we can once it is received at our warehouse. Once the return has been approved (the items must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging) you will receive an email advising how your return is being processed.

PLEASE NOTE: Hokus Pokus Australia reserves the right to reject returns outside the 30 day return period, or items which are returned that are not in their original condition and/or packaging.

Payment Policy

Payment methods accepted: Paypal, Direct Bank Deposit, Credit Card (Stripe) and Afterpay.

Payment will only be classed as being made once funds have appeared and cleared in our appropriate account. Any payment disputes must be made through the respective payment gateway provider.

What is the warranty period?
We offer a 36 month (3 year) warranty on our product.

What is covered by the warranty?
Any of the parts that make up the product with the following exceptions.

  • Fabric coverings (no cover for colour fastness or protection from fading).
  • Any screws or fixings.
  • Any postage costs for the return of items.

How do I make a claim?
Firstly, stop using the product immediately. Email sales{@}hokuspokus.com.au with a description of the fault. We will then get in touch with you to discuss a resolution.

What will happen if I make a claim?
We will either repair or replace the faulty part in question. If a direct replacement is not available we will provide an item/s that closely resembles the part.

How do I make a claim?

All warranties are covered by CB Imports Pty Ltd (Trading as Hokus Pokus Australia). P.O Box 23, Patterson Lakes, VIC 3197.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Shipping & Delivery

Where can I receive my order?

We use Australia Post as our delivery partner so we can deliver anywhere in their Australian delivery network.  Our deliveries do not need a signature upon delivery so please try and advise us of an address where someone will be able to receive the package during working hours.  Goods addressed to a home address may be left at the premises unattended if no one is home.  At the checkout, you can advise us of a secure location where your order can be left – eg ‘at back door’, ‘down side of house by shed’ etc.  If your goods are unable to be delivered at your nominated address for any reason they may leave a card advising how to arrange collection or re-delivery.

We cannot accept any responsibility for packages left at an address, which are then removed/lost/stolen.

Please note we are unable to deliver to a Post Office Box or Private Bag.  

How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery time is based on your delivery address.  Our checkout has a shipping calculator that will give you an estimated delivery time.  We will endeavour to have your item with our delivery partner within 48 hours of receiving your order confirmation.  You will receive an email notifying you that your item has been shipped.

Deliveries are made by our delivery partner Monday through Friday only.

How much do I pay for delivery service?
Delivery fees are based on the product purchased and the delivery address provided.

Our checkout has a shipping calculator that will give you a shipping cost.  Please note that at times these charges may be incorrect based on factors outside of our control; any extra charges incurred by Hokus Pokus Australia in the delivery of your Products may be passed on to you for payment prior to your goods being delivered.  We will make contact with you via phone or email to discuss any extra charges.

Do you ship outside Australia?
Whilst we are based in Australia, we can arrange international shipping if you wish.  We have a postage calculator that will help with some major countries, however if you are outside this area you will have to email us for postage information.
Once your items are with the postal company they are your responsibility.  We will only use our Australia Post network for shipping.

Hokus Pokus Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Application of terms: These terms and conditions apply to all competitions and promotions run by us, or on our behalf, including those undertaken via any social media channel (each a Competition). These terms do not apply, and we accept no responsibility for, competitions and promotions run by or on behalf of any party other than Hokus Pokus Australia (regardless of whether our products are part of the competition or promotion).

2. Competition terms:
a. Time for entry: Entries must be received within the timeframe specified.
b. Winner(s): We will determine the winner(s) at our sole discretion. Our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into with any party/parties as a result of any dispute for this decision.
c. Notification: We will attempt to notify winner(s). If the Competition is run via a social media channel, we will attempt to notify the winner(s) by a message or comment on the social media channel concerned. If we are unable to reach the winner(s) within 7 days, we reserve the right to nominate a new winner.
d. Image and naming permissions: By entering a Competition, entrants:
i. grant Hokus Pokus Australia permission to use their name(s) in winner announcement posts and/or notifications, as well as the unrestricted right to use (anywhere in the world and in any medium) any images submitted by entrants as part of the Competition; and
ii. agree that Hokus Pokus Australia will not be liable in any way whatsoever, in relation to the use of their name, social media profile and/or any images submitted as part of the Competition.
e. Details of prize: Any prizes offered as part of a Competition will be as described by Hokus Pokus Australia. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. In the event that the prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason, we will substitute a prize of similar value. Winners receive prizes entirely at their own risk.
f. No endorsement: By entering a Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or Pinterest).
g. Variation and suspension: Hokus Pokus Australia reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue a Competition at any stage, for any reason.
h. AU residents only: Entry to a Competition is only open to Australian residents.
i. Acceptance: By entering a Competition, all entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
